We place a great value on cross training with other teams/coaches. Its the quickest way, outside of competition to be exposed to new ideas and problems. Staying inside an isolated training group creates stagnation. We believe that the more jiu jitsu our students are exposed to the better their understanding of the art will become. As a great bonus you meet new friends along the way. We are always looking for high level coaches to visit and share their knowledge.

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 3RD - SOLIDGROUND BJJ CHAMPIONSHIPS
Kodey McCrystal recently competed in his first ever grappling competition. After two great matches, Kodey took gold in his division. We are all very proud of your achievement. The guys at New ground jiujitsu academy put on a fantastic, well run event. The atmosphere was brilliant and a great way to introduce kids to competition.
THURSDAY AUGUST 24th - VISIT TO TEAM RYANO LIMAVADY
Matt was down in Limavady with a few of the guys to teach a class. Head coach Andy Chapman visited us in Blackstaff recently and shared some awesome details. It was great to return the favour and see everybody again. A great group of grapplers! Thanks for having us.
WEDNESDAY AUGUST 16th - ANDY CHAPMAN CLASS
We had the guys from team Ryano Limavady in to visit recently and head coach, Andy Chapman taught a great class on open guard sweeps and lapel chokes. A very talented group of grapplers. Matt will be up in Limavady on the 24th to teach a no gi session.
SUNDAY AUGUST 13th - 37JIUJITSU CLASS
Matt recently visited our friends up in 37jiujtsu in Bellaghy to teach a class on Body lock passing. Thanks to the guys for having me, Highly recommend paying the guys a visit for anyone in the Bellaghy or Antrim areas.
